		<description>Sometimes, for me, photos don&#039;t do justice to the reality of a hand crafted floor, and I think this is one of them.  The pics are just enough to wet your appetite.  But, Lord knows, you want more!  You want to see it up close, so you can get the feel of the floor.  

I think this kind of approach to a floor is one of the hardest for someone to tackle.  There&#039;s no drama, no graphic structure, or overt metaphors.  People can&#039;t just say, &quot;Wow!  Look at that!  It&#039;s Carmen Miranda! (or maybe a smiling pineapple!)&quot;   The mind must let go of the need to make intellectual relationships with what it sees, and just feel the floor.  With glass sprinkled randomly, and loosely, there&#039;s a certain informality to the surface that is both casual and inviting.  It can be unpretentious, and at the same time different enough for people to think its cool.</description>
